admin Mazda Motor Corporation – Japanese car company that manufactures cars “Mazda.” Headquarters – in Hiroshima.
In 1920 son of a simple fisherman, Dyudziro Matsuda, together with a group of investors bought Abemaki, a bankrupt construction company. Main products were articles of cork, company was called Toyo Kork Kogyo Ltd. In 1921 Matsuda became its president. In 1920 the company released several trial lots of bikes, not very popular in the market, and the main product became machine-building equipment.
Mazda has a long history. In 1960 appeared the first car – rear four-seater Mazda R360.
Now the group is operating assembly plants in 21 countries, the export of vehicles is carried out in over 120 countries.
