There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow… Err… Yesterday?

I would love to see them update this scene. Actually, the more I think about it, I would rather they restore it to the original idea… which was a glimpse into the future from the 60′s rather than the 90′s. I think there is too much distance time-wise from the third scene (40′s) to the fourth scene as it is now, and it would be even further if they updated it to today’s glimpse of the future. I think it would be a great retro throwback that would fit in nicely with today’s Tomorrowland idea – “The Future That Never Was”.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this… what should be done, if anything, with the fourth and final “future” scene of today’s Carousel of Progress?
As for the photo… it is a six photo panorama stitch taken with the Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. Not the best lens for the circumstances, however, all I had at the time was this lens so I didn’t have a choice. I would have liked to have been seating a little further back to get in more of the ceiling of the scene – but this will have to do for now. Not perfect but better than I expected. View the original size (extremely large) to get the best effect.
Olivia and I were the only one in the theater, which I have to admit, felt really kind of eerie.

Video with Rover Light Six:
It is at moments like these that you question your sanity here we were, two guys from the UKs home counties in the middle of nowhere with a hand built, fully loaded, three ton vehicle—up to its belly stuck in soft Saharan sand—and it was getting hotter by the minute!! *
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Will Rover Light Six be your perfect car?
