The history of one of the largest automotive companies in Germany, Volkswagen AG, dated back to 1934 year. At that the most influential designer in the world Ferdinand Porsche was simply known. He took the fulfillment of an order from the German government to produce a car for ordinary people, something like a folk car. And the next year this perfect creation was produced, it has received a very concise name – “people’s car” (in German translation – «Volkswagen»).

Volkswagen AG – is not just a powerful auto concern. This is one of the largest producers of cars in the world. Today the company own about fifteen factories. Part of the “Volkswagen” is a host of other brands, some of which are now fully independent. Concern Volkswagen AG already has a clear specialization, because the production lines of its plants and factories and subsidiaries have trucks and buses and family cars, and high-class cars, and, of course, the most powerful in the world sports cars.
